Our Location
Whiffen Spit Beach Cottage is located a half hour drive from Victoria's Inner Harbour, port to the Coho Ferry from Port Angeles, WA, and the passenger-only Clipper from downtown Seattle. BC Ferries, connecting Vancouver Island to mainland British Columbia (and Vancouver) is an hour drive away, as is the Victoria International Airport.
Driving Directions
From Victoria: Take Douglas Street north, which turns into Highway #1. Take Exit #14 South (Veteran's Memorial Parkway). Turn right onto Sooke Road (Hwy #14) and follow for 20 minutes to and through Sooke. Turn left on Whiffen Spit Road.
From Sidney/Saanich: Take the Patricia Bay Highway #17 South to the McKenzie Avenue exit. Turn right on McKenzie Avenue. Turn right onto Highway #1. Take Exit #14 South (Veteran's Memorial Parkway). Turn right onto Sooke Road (Hwy #14) and follow for 20 minutes to and through Sooke. Turn left on Whiffen Spit Road.
From North Vancouver Island: Take Hwy #1 South to Exit #14 (Veteran's Memorial Parkway). Take Exit #14 South (Veteran's Memorial Parkway). Turn right onto Sooke Road (Hwy #14) and follow for 20 minutes to and through Sooke. Turn left on Whiffen Spit Road.
